How to Raise a Complaint

Last updated: October 2026

We want every homeowner who reaches Commissionshorter Roofing to be treated fairly and honestly. If something went wrong, tell us. This page shows how to make a complaint and what happens afterward. It is a general template and is not legal advice.

Topics You Can Raise

You can write to us about:

  • Your experience calling or contacting Commissionshorter Roofing
  • The way your personal information was handled
  • Anything on this website that seems unclear or wrong
  • The conduct of a provider we connected you with

When the Issue Involves a Provider

Providers in our network are independent businesses. They are responsible for their own estimates, prices, work, warranties and customer service. If something went wrong with work on your home, the usual first step is to bring it to the provider directly and keep a written record.

We still want to hear about it. Feedback about providers helps keep our network honest, and providers who repeatedly fall short of what we expect may be removed. Please know that Commissionshorter Roofing cannot settle contract disputes, refund money for a provider's work or make decisions for a provider.

Sending Your Complaint

Email contact@commissionshorter.living and include:

  • Your name and how to reach you
  • The date you contacted us or the provider
  • The phone number you called or the form you used, if you remember
  • The provider's name, if you know it
  • A clear account of what happened and what outcome you hope for

After You Write

We will confirm we received your complaint by email, usually within a few business days. We will look into what happened, which may include contacting the provider. Then we will reply with what we found and any steps we plan to take.

If You Are Still Unhappy

If our answer does not satisfy you, reply and ask us to take another look. You may also contact your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or your local Better Business Bureau. For concerns about licensed providers, your state's contractor licensing board may be able to help too.
